In WISE today we watched a documentary called Barnsong that was made by a WISE student...who documented another WISE students project: building a barn.
Over all the entire thing seemed very well done. If I were to watch this without knowing the background, I wouldn't automatically feel like it was a film made by a student. The editing and music that the student put together with it works well and makes it seem legit.
It's fairly entertaining seeing the student (Austen?) building a barn and the issues he had with building the barn. He gets help from his friends, his neighbors and his family. It shows that he really had to reach out to get his project done.
It's unfortunate neither student could complete their goal. The barn was never completed due to some family issues, thus stunting the project of the one doing the documentary. It's sad but it makes us realize that even if our project is blocked by some other obstacles, there are other ways to "finish" it.
Though I hope that doesn't happen to me.
